Vilangan Kunnu is one of the tourist places in Trichur and is a picnic spot in the centre of the city. Thrissur is one of the popular cities in Kerala with its cultural spots and tourist destinations. Vilangan Hills is a beautiful small located on the way to Calicut a 5 km drive from the Thrissur city. Nature has shown its excellence and beauty here with the greenery landscape.
It is a perfect picnic spot due to its beauty, silence and greenery within the city. Youngsters can enjoy the time here with the recreation facilities in the park. The hill top provides an unobstructed view of the whole city and also provides the spectacular view of the paddy fields in the valley. The Puzhakkal kole lands are a nearby farming area with acres of rice paddy fields.
