Nainital is located 67 km from Almors, at an altitude of 1,938m in the hills of Kumaon in Uttaranchal. It is a beautiful hill station surrounded by mountains on three sides. Earlier this place was called Chakta or the City of 60 lakes since this place had many lakes.
